Our mission is to provide soap and other personal hygiene products to the communities we serve at no or substantially reduced cost. We hope to enable individuals to maintain the dignity that follows from cleanliness, in the face of need or hardship. We are committed to providing high-quality products made from natural ingredients as locally as possible.

We seek to source, produce, and distribute our soap in a collaborative effort with area organizations and enterprises, without disrupting the thriving craft economy.

Soap for good was incorporated as a North Carolina nonprofit on the fifth of November 2025. Federal tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) has been applied for with the IRS.
